I was watching “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” tonight and he made a quick joke about how he’s aged over the years and wonder just how much he has aged. Jon Stewart took over the helm at the Daily Show in 1999, but has been on TV since the early 90s.
I couldn’t find a pic of Stewart in his first show of The Daily Show, but I did find an early one, and a pic of Stewart & Conan O’Brien on “The Jon Stewart Show”
Okay, I’m a big Alan Tudyk fan. He was awesome as Wash on Firefly. (Why Joss, why?!?)
He’s in this independent horror-comedy called “Tucker & Dale v.s. Evil” that looks hilarious. As the official website describes it:
Two hillbillies are suspected of being killers by a group of college kids camping near the duo’s West Virginian cabin. As the body count accidentally climbs so does the fear and confusion as the college kids try to seek revenge against the pair, who believe that the kids are on some sort of suicide pact. Preconceptions and misunderstandings abound as horror and hilarity occupy the screen side by side.
And the official trailer is funny as hell. As of this post, they don’t have major distribution, so all you fellow Browncoats out there, let’s help Alan out and spread the word and let’s get this puppy up on the big screen.

I’m puttering around on facebook and this little ad pops up mentioning the guys from MST3K covered Star Wars Episode IV. As a fan I clicked the link and was rewarded with something that is gonna keep me busy for a long long time.
Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett & Kevin Murphy (Along with some famous guest “Riffers”) have figured out to keep the laughs going, rip on the newest movies and not get the living daylights sued out of them. They have recorded what amounts to commentary tracks as mp3s and you play the mp3s at the same time as you watch the movies. In some cases they even have down-loadable movies via VOD.
